FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – As part of the lined-up activities in celebration of its 117th Founding Anniversary, the Philippine Army conducted a fun run at the Army headquarters on Tuesday, March 18.
Army Chief Maj. Gen. Hernando DCA Iriberri, Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Romulo Cabantac, and Army Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Leonardo Rey Guerrero, spearheaded the fun run.
About 500 Army personnel from the post units within HPA participated in the run which was divided into two categories, 5K and 10K.
The top finishers, both male and female, received medals and a 500-peso cash prize. The awarding ceremony and a raffle draw was held at HPA Grandstand after the fun run.
Meanwhile, the Command through the Civil Military Operations Group (CMOG), conducted a two-day Philippine Army Information Caravan at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City last March 15 to16.
The information caravan featured a Static Display of Army capabilities which drew interest from the public.
The crowd was then entertained by the Army band who performed during the two-night mini concert.
